About GridHacker

GridHacker exists because I got tired of reading "cutting-edge synergy" and "game-changing disruptors" when I just wanted to know why my solar array was producing 15% less than rated.

This is a blog for engineers who read datasheets for fun. Who care about efficiency curves, not marketing slides. Who want real failure modes, not "optimized for performance."

The Author

15 years in power electronics and smart grid systems. Built everything from residential battery backups to utility-scale energy storage installations. Seen what works, what fails, and why.

The Philosophy

  • No marketing fluff. Just signal.
  • Real numbers, real specs, real failure stories.
  • If it works in a demo but not in production, it doesn't work.
  • Ground connections matter. Always verify.
